Johann drives financial inclusion and social enterprise finance initiatives at Erste Group Bank AG. He helped build the bank’s internal impact assessment system and managed Austria’s first Social Impact Bond, commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs. Today, he supports local Social Banking teams across Central and Eastern Europe in expanding inclusive finance activities and is dedicated to strengthening impact enterprises with the support of local support organisations. He is also involved in developing and managing MARC, Erste Group’s new Social Enterprise Scaling Program.
