Sien Raskin has been working to build an inclusive labour market in Flanders for 18 years. After six years with the Specialised Emploment Service (GTB), where she helped people with disabilities to find a suitable job, she has been working as an advisor in social economy and social entrepreneurship for the provincial government of Flemish Brabant for the past twelve years. She focuses on three pillars: promoting social economy enterprises, community building and matchmaking between companies and local authorities with social economy players, and financial support for social entrepreneurship projects.

Since May 2025, she is the project coordinator of the PROSECO project, where she is embedding social procurement as a policy focus within the province. With her ambition to make social procurement and inclusive entrepreneurship the norm, she is a passionate ambassador for the social economy.
